Well i think it was because she said that she never gave in to anyone and i guess that if she gave into him she was no longer there it was like she was numb no emotion no nothing and thats when she gave into him and gave up.
She needed something else to happen before she could kill herslef. She could not kill herslef without giving up on herslef and the only why for her to do that was for her to do what she did.
I think the reason that she said that is it was prove to herself that she was a peace of trash and diserved nothing better. It was her letting all the rumors become true in her eyes, and she use bryce just for that.
She wanted to confirm with herself that she really wanted to die. She knew Bryce would make her really let go.
