On page 30 Hannah says, "And everyone knows you can't disprove a rumor." She also says that a rumor started a reputation that others believed in and reacted to. How dangerous are rumors? How important are reputations?
You don't want a bad reputation, because people will look down on you. Rumors are bad for new kids and kids who everybody knows. Once someone starts a rumor about you, your basically screwed because nobody will believe the truth.
Rumors are dangerous they can mess up some ones life forever and they could do the same thing that she did people can help lead you in good ways or bad.... Reputations are not really important to me at least cause if it did matter then i would have a really sucky life so its what you let effected you on both.......
It depends on the rumor, but most of the time they aren't,people just let the rumor get to them. Reputations are important because that is how everyone knows you.
I agree with armin because you and the people involed know the truth and thats truly all that matters. Reputations can be important but not over some stupid rumor.
