I think Joey is having such a hard time because he not used to the why people do things there. He's gone to the same school where he know everyone and now he going somewhere where he feels alone. Paul finds out that Joey thinks poorly about the people that go to Tangerine he thinks that the people at his other school where better than the people he goes to school with at Tangerine.
Joey thinks he's better than the others because he's rich and he's white so he's used to being accepted. Paul figures out that Joey wants to play football because his brother played it or because it's an American sport.
I think joey is having a hoard time because he has lived in his brothers shadow and now that he is dead he has the chance but the new school that he is at doesn't fit in at all cause he sucks at soccer and he aint like bad like the other kids he wants to be where people know him even if its as his brothers shadow.
I think that Joey is having a hard time trying to fit in with team because he see's Paul doing great and victor is picking on Joey so it is hard for Joey to grasp how victor is. Joey had just transfered to that school because of Paul we wanted to be playing soccer with Paul and now he is feeling like he doesn't fit in. But Paul has been trying to tell him to be patient and they will except you but Joey thinks very poorly of the Tangerine school. Joey thinks that the other school he was at was better.
I think joey is having a hard time fitting in because he cant take any of the jokes that the soccer team is telling him. He also is rich and the kids at tangerine aren't. Paul finds out that joey is trying to be better than everyone else so he wants to leave tangerine.
I think he was having a hard time because they way the other kids interact with eachother is totally different from what he is used to. I think he is used to being the Victor type of the group. Paul finds out that Joey now wants to play football and hates the "dump" that Paul had him go to.
